How to Create an SFTP Account

Search for the organization to view how they name their accounts:

Click the Add New User button in the bottom right:

Type in the User Information (Make sure you turn Email Notifications on:

If the user is not an employee of PH Tech, Authentication should be set to MOVEit Only. ALWAYS let MOVEit email a "set password" link with instructions to EXTERNAL users. Do not email passwords to external users unless you utilize #phi# in the subject line when sending.

If the User is an employee of PHTech, Authentication should be set to External Only:

If you are cloning a user, you will need to copy/paste this string into the Home Folder field: /home/Users/[USERNAME] This is how the field should look:

Add the groups the user needs to be in by highlighting each group:

Click Add User:

You are finished creating the SFTP account.
