Domain & Local Admin Password Reset/Account Claiming Process
Local Admin "x0" Account Reset/Claiming Process (you'll need this to install software on your local machine)
Connect to your Amazon Workspace instance with your standard Active Directory user account.
Navigate to the menu bar at the top of your screen, select View -> Send Ctrl + Alt + Delete, and use the "Change a password" tool in windows.
Enter local admin "x0" username and old password/one-time password, and specify a new secure password for the account.
*Password policy: Minimum of 14 characters with at least one upper and lower case letter, and a number or special character. Example: My car is red!
Success! You have now reset/claimed your account. You will be notified via email every 90 days to reset this account password.
Domain Admin "z0" Account Reset/Claiming Process (this is not common)
