Make sure that "EPSON Scan" is open

Verify that save directory is set to "Desktop" (this only has to be selected one time and will be remembered)
Load document(s) and press the blue button on the front of the scanner and save the file.
The file is now on the desktop and can be uploaded to a claim.
Method 2 : Scanning via "EPSON Scan" software

Verify scan directory is seto to "Desktop" (reference step 1 from previous method if necessary)
Make sure document(s) are loaded and hit the "Scan" button inside of the "EPSON Scan" utility.
